The following is a list of vegetables that are available from month-to-month. Some of these vegetables are available throughout the season, some are carry-overs from the previous season, and some will start mid-season and carry over into the next. (Stated simply: If we’ve got it, we’ve got it – if we don’t, we don’t!) The success of each crop is subject to the whimsical nature of our ever-changing Texas weather, i.e., flood, drought, tornado, hail, freeze, and the inevitable relentless summer heat. Nevertheless, this is the list that we, as farmers and eternal optimists, plan to bring to market.
